The 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar: Fulfilled Realities of the Entire Book of Revelation' held at the Shincheonji Daejeon Church of Matthias Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Seo district, Daejeon, South Korea, on the 11th October, with over 2000 people gathered, left some pastors stunned by the plain testimony of the Book of Revelation. The lecture lasted about two hours.
The pastors who attended that day evaluated Chairman ManHee Lee's lecture on the fulfilled reality of the war recorded in the Book of Revelation as a welcome, refreshing new topic in an era when the church is in decline, in that it validated the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation, the last prophetic book of the New Testament, and proposed a future for the Korean church.
Chairman Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, who is presenting a new paradigm in the religious world through lectures on the Book of Revelation according to the 5W1H method, is holding Bible lectures in major cities nationwide in the second half of the year, following the first held in the first half of the year. The second lecture of the current Shincheonji Bible Seminar series held in Daejeon, following Seoul on the 7th, ended with a warm response.
Regarding the meaning of this Bible Seminar, Shincheonji Church of Jesus explained, “The Book of Revelation is the conclusion of the 6000-year biblical history of God which no one has been able to understand. This seminar series will be an opportunity to unravel and provide a step-by-step explanation of the Book of Revelation, which pastors were not aware of.”
The most recent Bible seminars held in Seoul and Daejeon were attended by pastors from various denominations who were trying to find the ‘treasure’ in an uncertain pastoral environment. The pastors were amazed at the fact that Shincheonji's lecture on the reality of the fulfilment of Revelation was entirely based on the Bible without any errors, and expressed their gratitude, saying, “We're thankful that there is a pastor who clearly knows the reality of the Book of Revelation.”
Mr. Kim, a pastor from the Seoul area who came to listen to the lecture, said, “I'd kept my distance to the point where we even hung a ‘no entry’ sign at the entrance of our churches because Shincheonji was said to be a heresy, but when I attended and heard the Shincheonji lecture in person, I was very surprised because the teachings were entirely biblical.” “Thank you - every single word has deeply resonated with me,” he said.
Mr. Choi, a pastor who has been in ministry for 19 years, said, “I'd first heard of the lecture on the Book of Revelation through YouTube, and by chance, I ended up attending the event in person through an acquaintance.” He added, “I visited many Presbyterian, Holiness Church, and Baptist churches, and the Chairman of the church (Shincheonji) spoke about Chapter 1 of Revelation. As I listened to his fluent lecture up to chapter 22, I thought to myself, ‘This is the only place where you can learn the Bible.’”
Pastor Seung-chun Jeon, who serves at a non-denominational church, said, “Through Chairman Lee's lecture, I felt a purity of the word that did not compromise with the world and was not tainted by false theology,” and added, “A deep understanding of the Bible and a sermon delivered with confidence are essential for understanding the Bible well.” “I think Chairman Lee is different from other pastors in this regard,” he said.
He said, “It was a great blessing and I was deeply moved to hear the testimony of the word delivered with the confidence and boldness of a young man despite his advanced years.” He added, “No matter our faith beforehand, it was all to prepare and organise us into the nation created when the Book of Revelation is fulfilled.” “I was impressed,” he said.
Former Pastor Ji-won Kim, who is taking a course at the Shincheonji Zion Christian Mission Centre, said, “I witnessed the corrupt reality while serving as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church and left the church because I could no longer bear it.” He added, “Had he (Chairman Lee) not seen and heard the reality of the Book of Revelation firsthand, he would not have been able to speak with such power and confidence.”
Pastor Park from the Presbyterian Church said, “The reality is that even seminary deans don’t know the Word, and it’s not uncommon to sell pastoral licenses for tens of millions of Korean won, so it was good to hear a clear and accurate Bible-based lecture. I think it will be of great help in future sermons I give.”
