Learn why our lives are difficult and empty, and how we can be happy. Find out the secret to happiness through the God-given Guidebook and make our lives brighter.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) regularly opens its doors to the public to provide sound teaching through Bible-based lectures on a range of topics, especially the Book of Revelation, address existing misunderstandings and prejudices about Shincheonji among the Christian community, and foster deeper ties with communities throughout South Korea.

On the 11th and 12th May, Shincheonji Gwangju Church (Peter Tribe, Tribe leader Jung-woo Lee) held a lecture on the true meaning and secret to happiness on the theme, 'Make My Life More Radiant' in celebration of the Family Month of May.

About 5000 members of Peter tribe as well as 2000 outsiders attended this event. They learned about the fundamental problems of life, such as the destination of one's life, and one's purpose. It was prepared as an opportunity to think deeply about happiness.

In addition to lectures, various experience booths such as educational booths for further study and discussion booths were provided, as well as personalised photo, colour and memory booths.

Jung-woo Lee, the head of Peter tribe, who served as the lecturer, said, “Man is made up of spirit, soul, and body. Though the body goes the way of the body, leading to old age, sickness, and death, the soul goes the way of the soul. We have to think about our destination.”

The tribe leader said, “'The Word from the beginning, which we see in John 1:1, was with God, and this Word is God.' If you look at the explanation of the word (verse 2), it is said to be the way. In other words, the words of the Bible are the way.”

“One's physical life on this earth is short, but the soul is eternal. If happiness is to be with someone you love forever, I hope you realise that there exists eternal life, and not just life for the body in this world. I hope you invest in your soul and improve your mindset.”

At the same time, the head of the tribe emphasised that “the path to happiness that is really necessary for life is found in the Bible,” and “the answer to our life is in ‘Revelation’. If you know the Book of Revelation, the answers to your life will be solved. However, Shincheonji is the only place that can prove that the Book of Revelation has been fulfilled. The reason people gather at Shincheonji is because only this place can explain the secret (to happiness).”

Finally, he said, “Happiness is not about getting what you want, but about realising what you already have. God and the Bible tell us this so that we can live with what is precious forever. I hope you listen and understand with one and the same heart so that happiness can dwell in your life and I hope you become someone who can share that happiness with many people.”

Ji-eun Kim (pseudonym, 34), who attended this event, said, “I had prejudices and misunderstandings about Shincheonji. I came and listened, checked and realised I was wrong.”

Mr. Kim continued, “The most memorable thing I heard today is that the difference between Christianity and Shincheonji is '65 vs 66'. I've listened to a lot of pastors, but I haven't heard anyone talk about the Book of Revelation. However, Shincheonji is confidently speaking about the Book of Revelation.”

On April 22nd, Shincheonji held a large-scale 'Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' lecture roll-out. Starting from Seoul, they toured Busan, Daejeon, and Incheon, ending on the 13th. About 1450 pastors and many believers attended the event, which was held throughout Korea, and many others watched the live broadcast on YouTube.

Meanwhile, pastors in Korea and overseas who have encountered the message of Shincheonji have been steadily requesting an MOU for teaching of the word from Shincheonji to their congregations since 2022, and as of the end of April this year,  6,754 churches signed an MOU in 78 countries (250 churches in Korea). Among them, more than 5,000 people are studying the words of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and 598 churches in 28 countries have replaced the signboards of their churches with Shincheonji.
