Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Busan James Tribe held an open house at Hadan Temple on February 11th. This follows on from the open house held on January 14th, which was the first in-person event held since COVID-19, to a packed crowd of 2,000 visitors including local dignitaries, celebrities, family members and acquaintances of practising Shincheonji members.

This open house will be held by Busan James tribe once a month and is purposed to resolve misunderstandings and prejudices about Shincheonji and establish a place of unity with local residents.

The open house on the 11th was held on the theme of 'Let's go to Cheongnang's Place'*. The 100,000 Graduation Ceremony photo exhibition was held in the lobby and stairs of the temple, and in the main hall of Busan James tribe church, participants flocked to various free booth experiences, including a biological age test, hand massage, hand knitting, caricature cutouts, traditional pottery therapy, keyring making and pine cone craft, a photo zone and even music performances.

The Open House was held from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and at every two-hourly period, docents were present to provide a vivid explanation of the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony Photo Exhibition.

A discussion booth was open to visitors to ask and answer questions about Shincheonji and find detailed information in order to clear up the misunderstandings about Shincheonji.

An official from Busan church said, “We hope that many visitors will come to this event, enjoy the experience with an open mind and have any long-standing prejudices and misunderstandings about Shincheonji Church resolved. Future lectures on topics such as 'How my life changed', 'Leading Life', and 'Personal Branding', at which we request your participation, will also be held.”

Meanwhile, since January 11th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Busan James tribe has continued to promote the vivid scenes of the 100,000 graduation ceremony  through an outdoor photo exhibition held in downtown Busan, including Busan City Hall, Seomyeon commercial centre, and Song Sang-hyeon Square. The outdoor photo exhibition will run until the end of February.
