[Cheonji Ilbo Gangwon = Reporter Hyun-bok Lee] The members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee, hereinafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus) participated in their 'Live ON' blood donation campaign to help alleviate the blood supply crisis in Korea caused by the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic. Within just 7 days, another miracle of securing blood from more than 15 donors was accomplished.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced on the 25th April that from the 18th to the 24th, all blood had been obtained from the 12 tribes across the country in just one week.

With the same heart as all the 12 tribes across the country, members of Philip tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus gave blood at blood donation centers and 8 bloodmobiles in every region, and by noon of the 25th, 1,285 donors had participated, of whom 886 were complete blood donations.

On the 19th, Director Won-il Moon of Gangwon Blood Donation Center expressed his gratitude and said, “This is a most difficult time, but Shincheonji members have participated in giving blood in a timely manner. I think we will be able to overcome this crisis to a significant extent. Thank you.”

An official from Philip tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “Giving one’s blood is an act of respect for the dignity of life and a practice of love. Following this blood donation, all blood donor rights will be waived and donated to save the lives of children suffering from cancer or long-term illness.”
