Why Must We Know the Bible? (Shincheonji Church of Jesus)

Why must be know the Bible?
God said in Hosea 2:19-20 that He would betroth us (the chosen people), and in Jeremiah 31:32, God said He became a husband to Israel to lead them out of Egypt, and made a covenant with them. In Matthew 22, Jesus referred to himself as the bridegroom of the wedding banquet; and in Matthew 25, Jesus said that he would come as a bridegroom to his bride, the saints. Moreover, in Revelation 19, Jesus said that there would be a wedding of the Lamb; this is a marriage of the spirits (of the flesh) becoming one with the spirits.

Let me tell you this story as an example:-
Once upon a time, a young man promised a young woman that he would marry her.
So, he sent a letter to the woman highlighting the date, time and location of their wedding.

The woman received the letter from his messenger:
(Bride): "What does this say?" (but she left the letter in her room since she couldn't read it)

The bridegroom left and arrived at the promised location on time on the day of the wedding, but the bride was not there.

He waited until dark, but she didn't come. Thus, the bridegroom left thinking that she had given up on their marriage.

(Bridegroom): "Doesn't she love me anymore?"

One day, the woman was curious about the letter that she received from the messenger, and asked someone who was literate to read the letter for her. The letter was from the man who promised to marry her, and the date, place, and time were recorded.

However, the date and time had already passed.

This woman didn't know how to read, she didn't care and she didn't want to expose her ignorance to others. So she couldn't meet the bridegroom.

Had she shown the letter to someone and asked for its meaning as soon as she received it, she would have understood the promise and married.

What do you think about this story?
The New Testament is a letter of promise that Jesus, the bridegroom from heaven, has given to us - brides - on the earth. A believer from church may say that anyone who just believes in the name of Jesus can go to heaven and there's no need to study the Bible. But if you don't know the promise God and Jesus have made in the New Testament and don't want to ask others for fear of exposing your ignorance, then you may not be able to meet the bridegroom, Jesus when he arrives. Learning the word of the New Testament, which is the letter from heaven, is the requirement to meet Jesus, the bridegroom of the Second Coming.
