The Gumi branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group (Manager Kyung-eun Woo) announced on 2nd December that it had carried out its 'Love of Kimjang Sharing' event for residents in Wonpyeong neighbourhood. 

Volunteers visited more than 120 stalls around Geumo Market in Wonpyeong neighbourhood and delivered 30 boxes of kimchi to the social welfare centre that aids multi-cultural families. A social worker in Dongpyeong 1-neighbourhood said, "Thank you for lending us a helping hand in the cold.” 

63 year-old Mr. Kang, resident of Wonpyeong neighbourhood, Gumi city, who runs a stall in Geumo Market said, “I remember my parents sharing Kimchi with our neighbours as a child." Mr. Kyung-eun Woo, head of Gumi branch said, “I hope volunteers will continue to maintain a close relationship with residents."
