The Open Bible Seminar for Pastors: “The New Era Has Come, Let’s Discern the Times"
Shincheonji to the World, The World to Shincheonji!
On 7th December 2019 at 2pm,
the ‘Open Bible Seminar for Pastors' was hosted in the Republic of Korea (South
Korea). The seminar was delivered by Man Hee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji
Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereafter
'Shincheonji Church of Jesus'). Chairman Lee taught about the fulfilment of the
promises recorded in the book of Revelation of the Bible - which was recorded
2000 years ago and has appeared in reality today - to a room of 400 pastors,
saying, “There are people who are not
interested in what the Bible says. However, if scripture records about what
will happen in the future, shouldn't we know this for ourselves? There is a
stark contrast between practising a life of faith within and outside of the
Bible. There are many promises recorded in Revelation chapters 1-22, and it is
recorded in Revelation chapter 22 verses 18-19 that one will not enter heaven
if one adds to or subtracts from the book of Revelation. Check for yourselves
by seeing, listening and coming to heaven”.
Chairman Lee urged guest pastors to discern the current times as he testified about the fulfilment of the promises God made in the book of Revelation. He explained the judgment carried out by Jesus and the four living creatures in Revelation 6, the seven bowls of wrath that are poured out in Revelation 16, and the bowl who overcomes in Revelation 12. Chairman Lee went on to say, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus has received much insult and persecution. The world may consider us foolish or dead spiritually, but the reason we continue working so hard is because there isn’t much time left. We know very well where and when Revelation has been fulfilled. When the promise of this new era appears, we must find ourselves at that place.”
Guest pastors listened
intently throughout the seminar, responding with a loud ‘Amen’ and concluding
the chairman’s lecture with a round of applause. One well-known Baptist pastor
who attended the seminar said, “I wonder
if I would have been like a Scribe or a Pharisee at the time of the first
coming. I honestly had to repent after coming here today. I have learnt that
God is the word and that, as a pastor, I have to base my faith on the word.”
The ‘Open Bible Seminar for
Pastors’ is the conclusion of a wave of reformation that Shincheonji Church of
Jesus has brought about within the religious world in South Korea. Just two
months ago, (October 4th-November 2nd 2019), more than 1000 pastors, theology
students and seminarians attended Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ nationwide ‘Open
Bible Seminar: The Second Coming and Harvest’ which 30,000 people of all faiths
and none attended. This was then followed by an unprecedented graduation
ceremony of 103,764 graduates (10th November 2019) who had all been evangelised,
harvested and sealed with the word of Revelation through an intensive six-month
Bible study course taught at Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ Zion Mission Center.
The graduation ceremony is by far the biggest of its kind in modern history and
has received global media coverage in more than fifty countries. Following this
graduation, all twelve tribes hosted their Open Bible Seminar within their
respective regions in South Korea (15-16th November) to a total audience
of 2000, followed by a seminar in Jeju Island to an audience of 1500 people (November
19th 2019). Thousands more then attended an Open Bible Seminar held throughout
all 72 branch churches belonging to the 12 tribes in South Korea. It is not
through man’s power that all this is being achieved, but through the power of
God, who is fulfilling everything He promised in the four Gospels and book of Revelation.
In the recent words of Chairman Lee at the ‘Open Bible Seminar for Pastors', “God, Jesus and all of heaven’s angels are working
today”. In the last two months, a staggering 1500 pastors and church leaders
have attended Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ Open Bible Seminar delivered by
Chairman Lee.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus possesses
the promised pastor, promised temple and promised theology. Chairman Lee is Jesus'
promised messenger (pastor) who has the duty to testify to the churches about the
reality (fulfilment) of everything he has seen and heard according to the promises
recorded in the book of Revelation (see Rv 22:8, 16). Through the promised pastor,
God and Jesus have established ‘Shincheonji’, which is ‘New Heaven New Earth’
recorded in Revelation 21; the place where God promises to dwell with all creation
to wipe every tear from our eyes and end all suffering and death. It is no
exaggeration to say that Shincheonji Church of Jesus is the only ark of salvation
that all people must board today, according to the
promise in the Bible
The theology that Shincheonji
Church of Jesus possesses is entirely Bible-based without any
external commentaries. Through an intensive six-month Bible study course taught at its 300+ worldwide
Zion Mission Centres, people hungry for the true meaning of the Bible receive an in-depth study of the 66 books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Through basic, intermediate and advanced level coures, one learns the correct way of reading the Bible, Bible history and the hidden secrets from
Genesis to Revelation, respectively. This
includes the realities of the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil and the serpent, the ‘new promise’ believers must keep
today, God's will for our individual lives and His plan to restore this broken world
in order to bring all creation back to Him and fulfil his promised world of
peace where there is no death, mourning, crying or pain. Today, the entire Bible can be understood
clearly because what was sealed for 2000 years (Revelation) has finally been
opened and the fulfiment of its promises have been seen and heard and are being testified by one promised pastor.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus is doing everything it can to freely share this true teaching
of the Bible to as many people as possible without cost. Following the initial nationwide Open Bible Seminar, 5000 participants registered
for study and street evangelism booths were established throughout the country. Today, a total
of 200,000 people are studying the true word of the Bible in one form or another.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus,
founded in 1984, is an abbreviation of Shin-cheon-Shin-ji, the Chinese
characters for ‘New Heaven New Earth’, which is promised to appear according to
the Bible. It is the promised church of the Bible and the only place in the
world that teaches the fulfilment (reality) of the promises recorded in the
book of Revelation. Through the logic of prophecy and fulfilment, it is leading
a great revival through systematic teaching of the entire Bible from Genesis to
Revelation. Upon completion of their free six-month Zion Mission Center Bible
