Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Chairman Man Hee Lee) holds
'The Open Bible Seminar of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' to spread
the Gospel.
On 16th November, Thaddeus tribe, based in Daegu-Gyeongbuk,
opened their local branch churches in Pohang, Gumi, Gyeongju, Andong and areas
surrounding Daegu to livestream their Open Bible seminar. Despite being a
predominantly traditional Christian region, more than 1500 people - Christians
and non-Christians alike - gathered to listen to the words from Shincheonji
Church of Jesus.
Andrew tribe’s head lecturer, who was invited to the seminar as speaker, taught on the topic of faith
through the seminar by discussing covenants; particularly the new covenant. He said, "In the New Testament, Jesus made a promise in
his blood that he said would take effect when the book of Revelation is
fulfilled. He said that this blood would purchase a kingdom and priests. This
is the promised 12 tribes recorded in Revelation chapter 7 and is now being testified by ‘the one who overcomes', who is the messenger sent by
God."
He continued, "In the New Testament, there is the
promise of a (spiritual) shepherd who will speak about things not yet known.
This is why 100,000 people gathered at the graduation ceremony. Isn't it odd to not actually expect this? We should not walk a life of faith outside the Bible, but free ourselves from our prejudices and become sincere believers
in the Bible."
Andrew tribe’s head lecturer at Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ Thaddeus branch church in
Daejeon giving a lecture on the theme 'Covenant and New Covenant'.
Ki-young Lee (50), who had been a devout Catholic believer
for ten years, said, "I came to yesterday’s meeting through an invitation
from Shincheonji Church of Jesus. What really touched my heart was the part about 'Knowing the New Covenant (The Book of Revelation)' taught by the lecturer. I want to become a God-fearing believer who
seeks God through His Word rather than in the way that I desire."
A representative of Shincheonji Church of Jesus said:
"Many pastors and believers attended the Open Bible Seminar delivered by
Chairman Lee that was held in six large cities throughout South Korea, in order
to confirm the truth of the book of Revelation. Please do not miss this unprecedented
opportunity, which is being testified through prophecy and fulfilment."
Meanwhile, in October, Shincheonji Church of Jesus received
extraordinary attention from the Christian community through the 'Open Bible
Seminar: The Second Coming and Harvest' delivered by Chairman Man Hee Lee. After the seminar, on 10th November, a graduation ceremony was held for 103,764 people who, within only
10 months, had been harvested and evangelised. This demonstrates the power of
God's salvation.
The Open Bible Seminar of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji
Church of Jesus, which began in response to countless inquiries about Shincheonji Church of Jesus, will be held from 15th November until the end of this month.
