Shincheonji to the World, the
World to Shincheonji!
2019 has been quite a year for
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji
Church of Jesus). 30,000 people attended its nationwide ‘Open Bible Seminar:
The Second Coming and Harvest’ delivered by Chairman Lee in six locations throughout
the Republic of Korea (South Korea) from October 4th-November 2nd 2019. More
than 5000 people registered for further Bible study to understand the Bible from
Genesis to Revelation.
This was followed by an
unprecedented graduation ceremony of 103,764 graduates from 113 nationalities who
took part in “Unprecedented Light of the World, 100,000 Graduation Ceremony of
the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji Church”! All 103,764 graduates had been evangelised,
harvested and sealed with the word of Revelation through an intensive six-month
Bible study at Zion Mission Center and are now officially registered in Shincheonji
Church of Jesus. It marks the first time in modern history that any single
denomination or religious institution has grown by 100,000 people within one
year. Can such an achievement be possible through man’s effort alone?
The reason for the booming
growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus in 2019, which has been growing by an
average of 20-30,000 people in the last five years, is that it is the promised
church of the Bible and the only place in the world that teaches the fulfilment
(reality) of the promises recorded in the book of Revelation in the New
Testament of the Bible. According to the Bible, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is
the promised temple (church) with the promised pastor and promised theology.
The growth of Shincheoji Church of Jesus comes at a time
when Christianity in South Korea and globally is on the decline. Its growth also marks the
downfall of the corrupt Christian Council of Korea (CCK); an organisation of
Korean churches founded on the Presbyterian doctrine in 1989 which has
established an inhumane ‘coercive conversion’ programme that has robbed two
young women of their lives and continues to separate thousands of families in
Korea. Through deceiving families into believing that their loved one has
joined a cult, victims are confined in secluded locations where they subjected
to physical and psychological abuse until they renounce their beliefs and
consent to receiving Presbyterian ‘conversion education’. Moreover, in the
last decade, CCK-affiliated pastors have been found guilty on 12,000 charges for crimes including fraud, burglary, forgery, defamation, drink-driving, arson and
sexual assault. This is the disturbing reality of mainstream Christianity in
Korea today.
Since the completion of the Open Bible Seminar on November 4th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus
has been holding evangelism booths in cities through South Korea in order to continue spreading this word of truth to as many people as possible. Most recently, from 15th-16th November, each of the twelve tribes hosted
their own Open Bible seminar within one of their respective cities in South
Korea.
