In India, which is home to diverse cultures, religions and languages, pastors of the Christian faith are changing their denomination's affiliation and church signage by the dozen.

Since the Shincheonji Online Bible Seminar was held, centred on an explanation of the unresolved prophecy of the Book of Revelation, and its fulfilment plainly testified, a new wave of evangelism has been formed in India. As a result, pastors in India are not only signing an MOU with Shincheonji Church, but also replacing their church signboards to 'Shincheonji Church of Jesus'.

In India alone, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has currently signed 3302 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) on the exchange of the Gospel with churches. Moreover, 292 churches have changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

An Indian pastor who changed the name of their church to Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “Before hearing the word, I thought it was important to grow the size of the church and become a pastor who was respected by the congregation and fellow pastors, and my sermons were also centred on my own thoughts.” He continued, “However, after realising that the word is God, I began to strive to preach according to the Bible and to change according to the word.”

He then told the pastors, “I have heard many doctrines and sermons from famous pastors, but none of them gave me a clear answer. However, now I have found the clear truth.”

Another Indian pastor who signed an MOU said, “As I understand the revealed word and teach it to my congregation, they are also very happy to understand the Bible.”

Meanwhile, the movement to not only sign an MOU for Gospel exchange, but also change the name of one's church to Shincheonji Church of Jesus began last year when a representative of a branch of a certain denomination in Madagascar made this request to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

A Shincheonji Church official said, “We will continue to actively interact with pastors of established churches and move forward on the path of mutual prosperity.”

Especially in the cold winter, the volunteer group delivered coal briquettes to low-income households, and in cooperation with the Sokcho City Sports Association for the Disabled, they carried out meal service activities.

In addition, in April, about 100 members gathered at Sokcho Beach and toiled in the heat while carrying out an environmental clean-up activity to address the issue of marine waste in an area frequented by a high number of tourists every year due to its natural landscape of mountains, sea, and lakes.

Moreover, in response to a request by the Gyodong Community Centre, the volunteer group also carried out house clearance activities, particularly for older residents living alone who have limited mobility.

The volunteer group's branch manager said, “We will continue to work hard and serve willingly to become a needed volunteer organisation for civil society.”

In a world dominated by conflicts and wars triggered by religion, the foundation for peace is being laid - a place of hope where leaders of various faiths and denominations worldwide are gathering.

The focal point of this culture of peace is the 'Religious Leaders Peace Centre', one of the global cooperative initiatives of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, led by Chairman ManHee Lee. The Peace Centre was inaugurated by the four-day ‘1st Special Lecture on Revelation Open to All Nations’ conference held earlier this year (February 20th to 23rd), where 80 leaders from 10 faiths, including Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and Confucianism, from 27 countries gathered in South Korea to expand their understanding of the Bible and exchange scriptures through a Bible exchange programme designed to promote understanding and solidarity between religions.

A Buddhist leader who attended the event said, “I experienced the miracle of religious leaders from different religions smiling happily, shaking hands, and putting their arms around each other’s shoulders, truly becoming one,” and added, “If any religious leader comes and participates even once, their thoughts will change to the point where they will regret not participating sooner.”

The religious leaders' Bible exchange programme led to the establishment of a more systematic and developed 'Peace Centre'. The programme is being carried out to help religious leaders understand Christianity through the Bible and to promote inter-religious dialogue and cooperation. As of 2024, 632 religious leaders are participating in this programme.

Moreover, among the religious leaders who attended the first Peace Centre class, there were many who made plans for inter-religious scripture exchanges in their home countries and put them into practice.

For example, on June 29th, the '2024 Cambodia Religious Peace Vision Forum' was held at the Chak Angre Krom Pagoda Buddhist temple in Cambodia. 120 monks and 30 Shincheonji Church of Jesus lecturers, evangelists, and followers gathered at the event.

Regarding the expansion of the Peace Centre centred around religious leaders from each country, a Shincheonji Church of Jesus official said, “Peace is a universal mission that requires cooperation from all believers,” and “By promoting dialogue based on mutual understanding and respect, we will be able to overcome prejudice and cooperate together to achieve lasting peace on Earth.”

The environmental cleanup and weeding service was conducted as part of the ‘Green Nature’ campaign at the entrance to Gosung Village, which is a water leisure mecca whose landscape is filled with overgrown weeds.

About 40 volunteers participated in the activity that day to remove the overgrown weeds on the access road and separated and collected 200 litres of waste abandoned on the road.

A significant gathering brought together numerous pastors and believers from various denominations on August 3rd 2024. Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted a Global Pastors' Conference on the theme "Germany and Revelation: Qualification and Importance of Pastors for the Renewal of the Faith World."

The conference powerfully demonstrated unity and a collective commitment to spiritual renewal and healing at a time when secularisation trends are growing and churches across Europe are being replaced by bars, clubs and restaurants.

With approximately 110 pastors attending in person and another 100 joining online, the conference drew around 1200 participants in total. The conference provided a valuable platform for spiritual leaders and believers to exchange experiences and inspire each other.

One participant expressed their surprise after the conference, saying, “I thought I already understood Revelation, but after this event, I realised who truly bears witness to the fulfilled reality of Revelation - and that is the chairman of Shincheonji.” These words encapsulate the core mission of the conference: to deepen biblical understanding and to bear witness to the prophecies and fulfilment of Revelation.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is committed to conveying the truth about the fulfilment of Revelation.

This conference marks not an end, but the beginning of many more to come. It is hoped that the insights and blessings from this gathering will pave the way for numerous future events, continuously contributing to the strengthening and unity of the faith community.

In an ageing society, the 'Beautiful Seniors' programme supports a healthy and happy retirement for people in older age under the slogan ‘One beautiful day is beautiful enough.’

The Cheongpyeong branch brought joy and warmth to participants through a range of activities, including hair and beauty care, paraffin wax hand massage and tile crafting.

A couple who were making calligraphy frames and reminiscing about their wedding expressed their love for each other by crafting the message, 'I will love you forever!'

Jeon Yeong-seok Jeon, the head of the Sinchon branch of the Korean Senior Citizens’ Association, smiled and said, “I was moved to see smiles spread across the members’ faces as the activity was being carried out.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Volunteer Group was founded by Shincheonji Church of Jesus in the Republic of Korea. The purpose of the Volunteer Group is to break down the barriers of conflict found within class, gender, religion, and politics, and unite hearts and minds by putting the teachings received from heaven into practice for the growth and development of local communities throughout South Korea.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus regularly opens its doors to the public in order to lecture on a range of Bible-based topics, especially on the Book of Revelation, to foster deeper ties with communities throughout South Korea and address misunderstandings and prejudices towards Shincheonji.

To this end, on the 3rd August, the Seoul James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a lecture on the theme, “Welcome, newcomers to Heaven.”

This event, which follows the opening of the Heavenly Culture Promotion Centre held in Seoul earlier this year, had 1100 local residents in attendance, communicating and learning about the Bible, as well as clearing up misunderstandings about Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The Seoul James Tribe leader, who delivered the lecture, said, “Shouldn’t we hope for heaven, where we can live forever without tears or pain?”

He continued, “To enter the kingdom of God, heaven, you must become a child of God, and you must be born again to enter heaven,” and emphasised, “Change is to record the law of God, that is, the words of the Bible, in your thoughts and heart. The words of people cannot change people, but the words of God can.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus plans to hold a 110,000 graduation ceremony at the end of this year, following on from the three 100,000 graduation ceremonies held in 2019, 2002 and 2023. Clearly, the word of God holds value for those with a deep desire for the hope of heaven.

Heavy rain has battered central and southern Korea in recent days. The highest cumulative rainfall was in Nonsan City, South Chungcheong Province with nearly 400 mm in total.

Upon the request of the Yeoju Volunteer Centre, the Icheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group carried out restoration work at the site of heavy rain damage on the 2nd August.

65 volunteers from the Icheon branch and the Yeoju Volunteer Centre visited a farm and cleaned up the flooded crops in six villages and removed the plastic from the ground, amid the scorching heat that surpassed 30 degrees Celsius.

A farmer who suffered flood damage said, “We were in dire need of a helping hand to deal with the crops that were destroyed by the flood, and the volunteers’ help greatly eased our burden.”

An official from the Icheon branch said, “We hope this flood recovery effort will help farmers quickly return to their daily lives.”

The activity forms part of the 'Beautiful Seniors' programme which, in an ageing society, supports a healthy and happy retirement for people in older age under the slogan ‘One beautiful day is beautiful enough.’

This is the fifth year of the Suwon branch's pumpkin porridge-sharing service.

An officials of the Veterans' Hall expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are grateful for your visit without forgetting those who rendered a commendable service to the country.”

These are the words of Mr. Kim, a recipient of the 'Pink Cloth' service conducted by the Osan-Hwaseong branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group on the 26th July.

The 'Pink Cloth' campaign is a core initiative of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group that delivers meals to households of people with disabilities who either live alone or are elderly and have difficulty preparing meals in communities throughout South Korea.

After spending several days menu planning and shopping fresh and healthy agricultural produce from traditional markets, the volunteer group prepared a menu consisting of Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) and side dishes selected by a professional nutritionist with both taste and nutrition in mind.

The side dishes were prepared and delivered to 20 households through the Osan branch of the Gyeonggi Province Disabled Welfare Association.

An official from the volunteer group said, “We will continue to do our best to visit various areas in the region and put love for our neighbour into practice where needed.”

The Seongnam Church of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji Seongnam Church) and a pastor of a Baptist Church in Gyeonggi Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate towards a common goal within Christianity.

The MOU agreement, which was signed at Shincheonji Seongnam Church, on the 20th of July, is a pledge between both groups to work together so that believers around the world can practise the faith that God wants them to have based on the correct knowledge of the Bible.

To date, around 13,000 churches worldwide have signed MOUs with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Of this figure, around 1300 churches have changed their signage to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The pastor of the Baptist church who signed the MOU said, “There have been many misunderstandings about Shincheonji Church of Jesus, but my thoughts have changed a lot through this MOU exchange. I hope we can continue to communicate and help each other in the future.”

A Shincheonji Seongnam Church official said,  “In this climate where Christianity is stagnating, if we help each other and interact with each other, we will all be able to grow and work towards the revival of the Christian faith.”

Five more churches are planning MOU agreements with Shincheonji Seongnam Church in the second half of this year.

On 22nd July, the Masan branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group took part in a heartwarming meal service activity carried out at the Masanhappo District Senior Welfare Centre in Changwon City, South Gyeongsang Province. Senior welfare centres in South Korea are currently experiencing rapid ageing and a lack of volunteers, so the volunteer group's effort was most welcome.

The meal service activity is regularly carried out by the Masan branch to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of people in older age. The activity forms part of the 'Beautiful Seniors' programme, which supports a healthy and happy retirement for people in older age under the slogan, ‘One beautiful day is beautiful enough.’

On that day, 16 volunteers prepared and distributed meals to over 400 senior citizens, washed dishes and cleaned over a three-hour period.

An official from the senior welfare centre expressed their gratitude, saying, “It was so beautiful to see them volunteering for the elderly,” and another official from the senior welfare centre who participated in the volunteer work said, “It’s not common to find a group that volunteers at a time like this, so I’m grateful that so many people are volunteering together.”

A Masan branch official said, “We will continue to be a volunteer group that can participate whenever help is needed in the region.”

These are the words of Ms. Geum-ja Lee (86), while making a massage stick at the 'Beautiful Seniors' event held by the Wonju branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group at the Hoengseong branch of the Korean War Veterans Association on the 20th July.

On that day, the Wonju branch made cypress wood massage sticks with the participants. The massage stick is great for relieving shoulder stiffness, and the cypress scent is also great for relieving stress. In addition, the Wonju branch also provided Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) meal kits to whet the appetites of the attendees.

Sang-ho Park, the director of the Hoengseong branch of the Korean War Veterans Association, said, “We express our gratitude for the special attention and volunteer work you always give us in both material and spiritual ways.”

These are the words of a citizen who participated in the 'Pinky Promise' disability awareness campaign held by the Chuncheon branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group. The campaign was held on the 19th July in the Chuncheon Pungmul Market area to raise awareness about disability among people in older age through correct information.

In South Korea, the proportion of elderly people with disabilities aged 65 or older has exceeded half of the disabled population in Korea, reaching 53.9% (according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare).

The campaign highlighted the reality that we can suffer from geriatric disabilities due to various declines in physiological functions.

Local resident Eun-young Yang (56, female), who went out for a walk and joined the campaign, said, “While listening to the explanation about disability in older age, I thought, ‘I’m soon going to be in my 60s, so this could be my story,’” and added, “I hope that many people will have the right information about disabilities and that awareness will improve.”

Dong-woo Kim, deputy director of the Chuncheon branch, said, “A change in social awareness of disability among the elderly is necessary amid the reality of a rapidly progressing super-aged population.”

A special exhibition on the second floor of the Temple entitled 'Examining Psychology', in which 35 cultural artists from the 12 tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus participated, exhibits 35 works of art on the theme of 'judgment', ranging from the well-known stories of Adam, Noah, and the Tower of Babel in Genesis to the judgment in the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible.

An official from the Shincheonji Gwangju Church Culture Department who hosted this special exhibition explained, “The trial is the king ordering a reinvestigation to ensure that even criminals are not unjustly punished. You can feel the king’s spirit of love for his people.” The representative also said, “I hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity to discover God’s hidden heart in the judgments that occurred in each biblical era and think about what kind of faith we should have.”

The  first floor of the temple hosted the 'God's Gift Exhibition: Key to Happiness', which is divided into three themes: 'Finding One's True Self', 'Shortcut to Happiness', and 'New Heaven, New Earth, Shincheonji'. This exhibition, led by a docent, allows attendees to reflect on the true meaning of life, and is designed so that even non-believers can feel the Bible more easily and enjoyably through the familiarity of nature, science and popular art.

A visitor who toured the “God’s Gift Exhibition” said, “When I think of ‘church’ and ‘Bible,’ I used to think of them as heavy and distant concepts. However, the exhibited works contained things very familiar to my eyes and ears, so I was able to think about the Bible and my own fulfilment without much resistance.”

Finally, the second floor hallway of the church sanctuary is home to the photo exhibition of the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the Zion Christian Mission Centre, which became a hot topic after it held three 100,000 graduation ceremonies even during the COVID-19 period when the number of church members decreased rapidly. 

According to the Zion Christian Mission Centre, this year, a graduation ceremony will be held for 110,000 people.

Jae-wook Yoo, the Peter Tribe leader, said, “I hope that through the exhibited works, you can draw a little closer to the Bible,” and added, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus is a place where many people are coming to learn about God through the Bible, which is the ‘gift from God.’”

These are the words of Ms. Yeon Ha-neul, who was passing by Sonamu Road in Jungnang neighbourhood, Cheongju City, Republic of Korea, while handing out snacks to the members of the Cheongju branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group on the 16th July.

The environmental activity, conducted by around 50 volunteers, is part of the 'Green Nature' campaign and was held at the request of the Jungnang Neighbourhood Administrative Welfare Centre.

Following the environmental cleanup activity, a carbon neutral campaign was carried out, focusing on the Pine Tree Road and Youth Plaza, which are frequented by Cheongju citizens.

Min-cheol Park, who participated in the campaign, said, “I'm glad that I learned about carbon neutrality through the campaign. I think I'll be able to practise it well in the future.”

An official from the Jungnang Neighbourhood Administrative Welfare Centre said, “We hope that this activity will provide an opportunity for citizens to lead more pleasant lives and gain interest in carbon neutrality.”

After this day of volunteer work, the Cheongju branch and Jungnang Neighbourhood Administrative Welfare Centre agreed to conduct environmental clean-up activities in the Jungnang neighbourhood area twice a month.

These are the words of Eun-jing Shin, a member of the Pohang branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group, who participated in a litter-picking activity in a walking path by the children's playground near Jangnyang Neighbourhood Lifelong Learning Center in Pohang City, Republic of Korea.

On the 14th June, about 20 volunteers united in a joint effort to protect the beautiful natural environment. Litter-picking is a simple activity that can be done with a bin bag and some gloves.

Mr. Kim, a resident of Jangnyang neighbourhood, who encountered the volunteer group that day, said, “Thank you for working hard to create a pleasant neighbourhood for the local residents.”

Branch manager Jeong-hyeon Choi said, “We will continue to do our best to serve the local community through continuous street clean-up activities.”

On 30th April, the Mokpo branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group conducted its 'Green Mokpo' campaign, which is one of several initiatives of the 'Green Nature' environmental programme conducted by the Volunteer Group, at the coast along Mokpo, a beautiful port city known for its vast ocean view in South Jeolla Province, Republic of Korea. The campaign was designed to raise awareness of the importance of marine environment protection with the slogan 'Let's Be Green.'

According to the Mokpo Marine Police Station, the amount of marine waste collected in Mokpo Port after the summer rainy season in July last year amounted to 16 tonnes. That is equivalent to the weight of 320 people based on 50 kg adult weight.

Morever, according to the international marine organisation Ocean Conservancy, the most commonly found litter in the ocean is cigarette butts, accounting for about 21% of all marine litter. Cigarette butt filters are mainly made of plastic, so when they naturally decompose, they are converted into microplastics that cause serious damage to the marine ecosystem.

Accordingly, the Mokpo branch introduced an upcycling experience booth to promote the importance of the sea and the impact of marine waste such as microplastics under the 'Let's Be Green' campaign.

The experience booth attracted the attention of citizens as it was prepared in a variety of ways, including an ocean photo exhibition to raise awareness of the severity of marine debris, making eco-friendly bleach to prevent environmental pollution, upcycling an old glass bottle into an LED, making an eco-friendly bag, and more.

A housewife who went shopping with her daughter said, “I thought microplastics were only bad for the respiratory system, but when a volunteer explained that they can also cause digestive and cardiovascular diseases, I thought I should also reduce the use of wet wipes.”

An elderly man who was looking at a photo of a whale that died after eating a lot of plastic said bitterly, “Animals are harmed by the litter we throw away.”

An official from the Mokpo branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group said, “Let’s take action first to ensure a healthy planet for future generations to inherit.”

These are the words of a member of the Yeosu branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group who participated in the ‘Island Coming’ environmental clean-up campaign held on 29th June, in the lead-up to the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo.

The 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo will be held for a total of 61 days from September 5th to November 4th 2026, under the theme of ‘Connecting the Island, Sea and the Future’. It is the world's first island-themed exhibition where 30 countries participate to share the charm of each country's island and explore the development potential of the island.

On the 29th of June, volunteers gathered at Yi Sun-sin Square from 10am despite the heavy rain, and participated in the environmental clean-up with bright smiles. At the booth promoting the island expo, there was an introduction to the expo, an introduction to the islands of Yeosu City, and a booth where you could make natural mosquito repellent and a shell frame made of a family photo to celebrate World Environment Day.

Young-soo Kim (56, male), who works at a nearby store and saw the clean-up activity that day, said, “This is a place that tourists frequent, so there’s always a lot of litter, but it’s good that they’re cleaning it up,” and added, “There must be a lot of people who don’t know about the World Expo, which is the main event of Yeosu City, so I think it will be promoted better since it’s being promoted in a place where there are a lot of people.”

Meanwhile, the Yeosu branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group has been conducting the ‘Island Coming’ campaign for six months since January, with around 100 young and middle-aged volunteers visiting famous local spots such as Yi Sun-sin Square, Manseong-ri Beach, Dolsan Cruise Terminal, and Musulmok Beach.
