16,000 people, including 200 pastors, flock to Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Seoul

“I sincerely hope that as a pastor, I can first properly understand the word and then convey its joy to the congregation.”

These are the words of Pastor Jang, in his 60s, who attended the '2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar on the Testimony of the Fulfillment of Revelation' held in Nowon, Seoul on the 2nd October.

The seminar came about as a result of explosive interest among pastors following the nationwide Shincheonji Bible Seminar held earlier this year, and follows recent Bible seminars held in Masan and Busan on the 25th and 29th of September, respectively.

To an audience of 200 pastors and 16,000 Shincheonji congregants, Chairman Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, who is 94 years of age, took to the pulpit in Shincheonji Nowon Church and testified the Word of God with conviction, centred on the Book of Revelation, preaching powerfully for about an hour.

Chairman Lee said, “Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament, promised the New Testament, and then said he would come again. He prophesied and left, so when he comes again, he will definitely fulfil the promises he made.” He explained, “That's why it is written not to add or subtract anything.”

Addressing the pastors directly, Chairman Lee said, “Let's know the Book of Revelation with certainty, from its prophecy to its reality.”

Finally, Chairman Lee also urged pastors to relinquish the desire for power or authority and be born again in order to receive God's blessings of heaven and eternal life.

A pastor who attended the Bible Seminar said, “While listening to the Chairman’s words, I shed tears as I reflected on my 30 years of ministry. I thought about how I would be now if I had focused on preaching the gospel centred on the Bible.”

Pastors who are attending the Shincheonji Bible Seminar series in their hundreds each time, are signing MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) with Shincheonji Church of Jesus to have the revealed Word taught to their congregations. To date, 13,053 churches in 84 countries have signed MOUs. Moreover, 1671 churches in 43 countries that received the word of Shincheonji Church of Jesus have changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus and are requesting the dispatch of Bible lecturers and education.

An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “We hope that the pastors will teach the words they have learned to the congregation and improve the overall level of the domestic church community together.”
