Shincheonji Church of Jesus regularly opens its doors to the public to provide Bible-based lectures - especially on the Book of Revelation - to educate on the Word of God, address existing misunderstandings and prejudices about Shincheonji and foster deeper ties with communities throughout South Korea.
On the 29th June, the Seoul James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus held an Open Bible Seminar at the Shincheonji Heavenly Culture Promotion Centre in Seoul.
To an audience of 1100 visitors, Gyu-su Shin, the tribe leader, opened the lecture saying, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus is a hot topic globally.” He continued to explain that since hearing the words of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, more than 13,000 pastors worldwide have signed MOUs with Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and out of those, more than 1300 churches have changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
He then asked the audience, “Why are so many people flocking to Shincheonji Church of Jesus?” and explained, “Since even a primary school student at Shincheonji Church of Jesus preaches on the Book of Revelation, which is said to be the most difficult part of the Bible, many pastors are saying they want to learn it.”
The tribe leader continued, “For those who want to personally see what kind of place Shincheonji Church of Jesus is and analyse it in depth, don’t hesitate and come learn about it once.”
Meanwhile, the Promotion Centre is divided into various sections that informs of the meaning of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony and the Zion Christian Mission Centre; the development history of Shincheonji Church of Jesus and the Seoul James Tribe; and the history of the Bible from Adam to Jesus and the Book of Revelation in animation.
