The New Covenant💓
The Bible is a 6000-year book of promises,
or covenants, made between God and man. God commanded Adam to eat from
any tree, “but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, for when you eat from it, you will certainly die” (Gen
2:17). Adam broke this covenant. After God destroyed the earth through a flood
with a heavy heart, He promised Noah that He would not do it again, marking
this covenant with a rainbow (Gen 9:17-18). God later promised Moses and the
Israelites that if they kept His law (Moses' law), they would become a kingdom
of priests and a holy nation (Ex 19:5-6). This covenant was broken by King
Solomon who worshipped false gods (1Kings 11). God then promised through the
Old Testament prophets to send His son (Jer 31:22) who would sow God’s seed
(Jer 31:27) and establish a new covenant (Jer 31:31). 600 years later, Jesus
Christ came to sow God's seed (Mt 13:24) and establish a new covenant (Lk
22:14-20). Jesus also fulfilled all the Old Testament promises that were
pointing to a future Saviour (Jn 19:30).
The blood that Jesus shed on the cross
2000 years ago is taking effect today at the time of the fulfilment of
Revelation. This blood purchases a kingdom and priests (Rv 1:5-6, 5:9-10) - the
promised twelve tribes of Revelation who are gathered at Shincheonji
Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. Congregation
members record God's law - Revelation - in their hearts and minds (Heb 8:10),
and have mastered God's will recorded in Revelation and the whole Bible. Those
who keep this new law will receive atonement of their sins and salvation. The
devil, who has thrown the world into complete confusion over the last 6000
years will finally be seized and thrown into the Abyss (Rv 20). An eternal era
of peace where God reigns will be ushered in and there will be no more
mourning, death, crying or pain (Rv 21:4)💓
