300 Churches in Central and South America Change Their Signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus

“I hope that every pastor will, like me, change their church signs and unite to lead not only pastors but also church members onto the right path.”

These are the words of a pastor, who belonged to a Baptist denomination in Venezuela but recently changed the church name to ‘Shincheonji Church of Jesus.’

As of the 19th September, the number of churches in Central and South America that have requested to change their church names to Shincheonji Church of Jesus since 2022 has reached 332. The number of affiliated members is approximately 22,000.

Changing the signboard to Shincheonji Church of Jesus reflects the intent to spread the revealed theology from Shincheonji Church of Jesus and unite with Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

Moreover, as of the 19th, 2056 churches have signed a business agreement (MOU) for biblical exchange with Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which is dispatching biblical materials and lecturers to respective churches. It is expected that these churches will also change their signs in the imminent future.

The main reason cited by pastors who decided to change the church signboard is the excellence of the word taught by Shincheonji Church of Jesus. These Bible-based teachings are positively impacting the faith of believers, who are voluntarily going out to evangelise and contributing to the revival of the Church.

The aforementioned pastor in Venezuela also said, “After changing the church sign, I was able to accurately understand the entire Bible and preach with confidence. That is the greatest blessing I have received from God as a pastor.” He added, “The atmosphere in the church is also joyful because the congregation understands God’s heart more through the sermon.”

Pastors who have experienced such positive changes are actively recommending that their fellow pastors change the signs. This movement is spreading in North America as well as Central and South America.
