Shincheonji Gwangju Church reflects on the importance of filial piety in the Family Month of May

Shincheonji Church of Jesus regularly opens its doors to the public to provide Bible-based lectures, particularly on the Book of Revelation, to resolve questions about faith, address existing misconceptions about Shincheonji and foster deeper ties with communities throughout South Korea.

In this Family Month of May, Shincheonji Gwangju Church of the Peter Tribe held an event at the church to enable parents and children to reflect on the meaning of loyalty, filial piety and love.

The event was held amid an increase in the number of dual-income couples, resulting in older children having less opportunity for quality family time due to busy schedules such as after-school activities.

Tribe leader Jae-wook Yoo said, “We are a church that has followed the words of the Bible amid all the world’s experience and wisdom. As such, we will work hard to become a church that truly overflows with God’s love and grace.”
