General believers ranging from students in their teens to those in their 70s stand on the podium and give sermons on the Book of Revelation, which is recorded in parables and even pastors and theological doctors do not know. This is what is taking place at Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus), the only church in the world that testifies that 'the Book of Revelation has been fulfilled'.
Since July 19th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been giving congregation members the opportunity to preach at Wednesday worship services. It is very unusual within the established Church for an ordinary churchgoer with no preaching experience to give an official sermon. It is also unique that such an opportunity is being given to people of all ages.
According to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, its purpose is to realise the 'shepherding of all congregation members', which has been advocated since the founding of Shincheonji Church of Jesus. An official from Shincheonji said, “All members have mastered the Bible and are giving a 'Sealing Confirmation Lecture' as evidence” and “The present situation is driven by a rush of requests from members to give sermons.”
Religion, which is not the teachings of the earth but the teachings of the heavens, is the primary teaching. In accordance with the meaning of 'religion,' Shincheonji Church of Jesus is conveying the true meaning and fulfilled reality of the Bible received from heaven, and is not that taught according to man's own interpretation. The true meaning of the Bible, a holy and sacred scripture, is that when the time came, God revealed His will to one person, and that person conveyed it.
Pastors around the world are responding enthusiastically to the teaching from Shincheonji, scrambling to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Shincheonji, changing the respective churches signboards to Shincheonji, and even recognising Shincheonji as a national religion in some countries.
The desire for Shincheonji to 'shepherd all congregants' is also driven by the fact that the current lecturers cannot handle the number of believers from all over the world requesting to study the Bible courses from Shincheonji. In South Korea, the birthplace of Shincheonji, Shincheonji is still viewed as a 'heresy', yet people around the world are recognising the doctrine of Shincheonji for its 'revealed theology' and are flocking to it.
Shincheonji is preparing for yet another 100,000 graduation this year. This is the third time in the history of religion that one denomination has had more than 100,000 graduates in a year. This is only happening in Shincheonji, and is in stark contrast to the line of established churches that have experienced a sharp decline of membership in recent times.
Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji continues to deliver the message, 'Let's verify the word from Shincheonji in accordance with the Bible.'
It is hard to believe Shincheonji is a heresy if the word makes so much sense
