[Cheonji Ilbo, Cheonji TV = Reporters Hwanggeumjung, Hyo-sim Seo] Shincheonji caused a stir in the global religious community with the unprecedented graduation of 100,000 people, the largest of its kind by any one denomination, in 2019
Another miracle has taken place 3 years later through the graduation of 106,186 students of Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center.
At Daegu Stadium, where the Shincheonji graduation ceremony was held, only 80,000 people gathered on site considering safety regulations, and a total of 300,000 people, including those who participated in real-time via live broadcast, participated in the ceremony.

“What I ask our pastors to do is to lay aside who is right and who is wrong and to engage in conversation. Who is without sin in this world? We should become one based on the Bible. If you don't know the Bible, you are like the dead. The Word itself is life. The people of Shincheonji have mastered this one book of Revelation. It is the difference between heaven and earth. Even these 100,000 people who completed the course were no different from non-believers at first. Such people studied for several months and became new creations.”
The qualifications to graduate recognised by Shincheonji are unique, because one has to study the Bible for 8 months and pass a graduation exam with a score of 90% or above to officially graduate.
As concerns over safety issues have recently arisen due to the Itaewon tragedy, Shincheonji said that it thoroughly prepared for safety incidents at this graduation ceremony.
I (reporter) saw that Shincheonji was very concerned about safety management while arranging ambulances and medical personnel.
Not only did they enter in an orderly line, but I was amazed to see the card section where thousands of people moved in perfect unison like one person.
There were many concerns to do with the potential for a large gathering of people to result in an accident, but as if to dispel this thought, Shincheonji's organisational power shone brightly.
2900 buses were equipped with GPS so that they did not crowd at once and controlled the flow of people boarding and leaving the buses by number per hour to prevent any accidents.
Daegu Metropolitan City, police, and fire department operated a comprehensive monitoring room to safely finish the event without any major incidents.

Q. The event ended without too much trouble, is that how City Hall judges it?
“We (the event) ended well, so that’s it. Beyond that, I don't think we are in a position to judge anything.”
Amid such efforts, the graduation ceremony was impressive.
Shincheonji Chairman Man-hee Lee arrives by helicopter, passes through the peace gate, and strikes a drum with a message to awaken the world.
The congratulatory speeches of key figures followed and the faces of the graduates all lit up.
The turning of the tassel, which signifies one's graduation, takes place, and graduates experience the joy of graduating and give thanks and glory to God.

“I am so happy and grateful that I have become the main character of the 100,000 graduation among so many people. As I was studying the Book of Revelation, I became deeply immersed in the Word because the Word of Revelation has been opened and its words, which I could not understand in the churches in Babylon, were taught me. It's heartbreaking. I really believe that I should join in this work of Shincheonji, even if only a little.”
(Interview: Mi-jung Ahn | Graduate)
“I also persecuted and cursed Shincheonji a lot during the coronavirus pandemic because I didn’t know much about it, but now I’m really sorry…I really want you to listen to it once and find joy all together, instead of just thinking about studying the words of Shincheonji alone without actually listening to it.”
The graduates revealed that it was God's grace that Shincheonji, which became the object of public attention due to COVID-19, was able to hold a 100,000 graduation ceremony here in Daegu.

“I only learned traditional theology at the seminary. I didn't know much about the Book of Revelation. So, I excluded the difficult words and taught only words that are easy to convey to the congregation members. Pastors, what do we really need to teach our congregations? Shouldn't it be to teach the will of God correctly, not serving or singing? Congregation members who have left their churches void of the truth are gathering here. Today is a miracle that is possible because God and Jesus are with Shincheonji. This place, where the purest word of truth in 6,000 years flows out, is heaven. This is the reality of Mount Zion in Revelation 14.”
It is known that this graduation ceremony has been of practical help to local businesses that have shrunk due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are a small advertising agency whose services were procured for the Shincheonji 100,000 Graduation Ceremony held at Daegu Stadium. The graduation ceremony was particularly beneficial: banner production and installation, mobilisation of equipment and mobilisation of a large number of personnel has significantly boosted the local economy, and I think it was of great help to our firm as well.”

“Christians are selfish. They accept only Christians who believe the same thing, but these people (Shincheonji members) are not; they are pure. I felt it for the first time. I've been to many places and events in Korea where a lot of people have gathered. Oh, I was really impressed. From what I can see, even if 1 million of them were to gather, there wouldn't be any accidents. Not if they keep order like this.”
The preparation and organisational power of Shincheonji, as well as the exponential growth of Shincheonji, are shockingly surprising.
Despite the tribulation of the coronavirus and the persecution, Shincheonji once again produced 100,000 graduates, as countless people gather in search of the truth.
(Interview: Seung-hyun Kim | Graduate)
“When I saw that 100,000 people, a very large number, gathered like this in the midst of difficult circumstances in the COVID-19 era to listen to the word of God, I deeply felt that it was not a gathering that took place simply because people were told to gather. There could have arisen a situation in which a graduate felt burdened gathering here, but my heart is overwhelmed because I've had the opportunity to attend and express my gratitude in such an orderly manner.”
(Interview: Seong-yong Park | Graduate)
“Today, we finally held the 100,000 graduation ceremony. This really cannot happen without the word of God. It sets a precedent for the future, and I think Shincheonji is the only place that can set future records. Before I learned this word, I was very curious. They say that Shincheonji is right, but is it really true? It's been said that the word is here, but I wanted to distinguish whether the word here is true or not. So, when I looked online, there were about 150 kinds of comparative doctrines. The difference between these words of the established churches and Shincheonji is enormous. But here, I really couldn't find a single flaw. God's Word is the answer. It was so clear and I thought I should learn it properly here. Now that I know it, I will dedicate my all to diligently spreading the words of Mount Zion, this city of truth, to the world as much as I can from now onwards.”
A graduation ceremony that presented a new order and culture!
Shincheonji is opening a new era with the truth and bright deeds, literally bringing about a 'new heaven and new earth'.

“Heaven and God are coming soon. Let us become one in the Word of God.”
