Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Daegu, Provides Police and Firefighters with Snacks
Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Daegu, celebrated Christmas by distributing snacks to local police and fire stations from 10pm-midnight on December 24th.
That day, Shincheonji Volunteer Group visited Daemyeong Fire Station, Police Station, Southern Police Station, Namdaem Police Station, and the Central Fire Department 119 Safety Centre, where they served refreshments including teas, coffees and oranges.
Myung Suk Choi of Shincheonji Church, said, "We hope that everyone working in this region experiences a warm winter and enjoys a healthy and happy year. We will continue to volunteer freely like the light, rain and air, and endeavour to become a voluntary organisation that contributes to the community."
Meanwhile, Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Daegu, recently signed an agreement with Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Center to donate regular amounts of blood, and it also delivers kimjang kimchi to over 120 shopping districts and children's homes in Gumi. It is creating a diverse culture of service.
