This is the seventh consecutive
year that SVG has served in this way and one of dozens of initiatives that SVG
has been carrying out. It is the largest NGO operating in the Republic of Korea
with 200,000 volunteers serving in disaster relief, blood donation, Korean War
veteran support, and regional development and public service campaigns in the
majority of cities in South Korea. SVG has received near to 100 awards by
governmental, civic and private organisations in Korea and continues to devote
its efforts to the betterment of others.
There are numerous charitable
organisations or movements of people around the world who work selflessly, but
what drives volunteers of SVG is hope. The love that its volunteers show is not
only based on an innate desire to want to help others, but on a certain hope of
a future without mourning, death, crying or pain, as promised in the Bible (Rv
21:4). Because of this hope, we serve with 'sincere' love💛
