After the betrayal of Adam and Noah’s worlds, God came to
Abraham and promised him about future events, which God fulfilled through Moses
and the twelve tribes of physical Israel. Under King Solomon, physical Israel later
betrayed God by worshipping false gods (1Kings 11), just like Adam did (Hos
6:7). Therefore, God made promises about future events through the Old
Testament prophets, which He fulfilled through Jesus Christ 600 years later (Jn
19:30). Jesus then promised about future events recorded in the New Testament Book
of Revelation. Today, at the time of the fulfilment of these promises, Jesus is
working through his promised messenger who has seen and heard all the events of
Revelation and can testify plainly about them (Rv 22:8, 16).
Through the blood that Jesus shed on the cross 2000 years
ago, he has purchased a new kingdom and people (Rv 1:5-6; Rv 5:9-10; Rv 7, 14).
This is the promised sealed 12 tribes of New Heaven New Earth (see Rv 21) who
will receive salvation and dwell eternally with God. Belief in God and Jesus is
believing in what they promised.
However, as at the time of Jesus’ first coming, there will be
those who see and believe
in the fulfillment of the New Testament promises (Rv 1:3), those who do not (Rv
22:18-19), and those who betray and receive judgment. As long as one bases his or her
faithwalk on the word of God, one can freely perceive this new covenant and receive
salvation. God and Jesus
are the word and in it are light and life (Jn 1:1-5). This is incredibly hopeful and God’s
will for the salvation of all His creation.💙
Faith in God’s Covenant and
Betrayal
