ManHee Lee, the chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, is giving a sermon at the Sunday service held at Shincheonji Incheon Church on the 6th

“Revelation is being fulfilled today. Come and listen, verify what you hear against the Bible, and decide for yourself.”

On Sunday 6th, ManHee Lee, the chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, visited Shincheonji Icheon Church and testified the importance of Revelation to the 1800 faithful in attendance, without a break, for more than an hour. He urged every believer to examine the Scriptures carefully and see for themselves what is being fulfilled today.

Chairman Lee began the sermon by urging the congregation to “become believers who take the Bible as their standard.”

Chairman Lee then went on to explain the Book of Revelation chapter by chapter, repeatedly drawing upon the content of Revelation 22:18-19 - not to "add or subtract" anything from Revelation. He emphasised: “It is written in the Bible that if you add to or subtract from the Book of Revelation, you cannot enter heaven, so you must know everything without missing even a single thing.”

Chairman Lee emphasised that Shincheonji is not a man-made organisation but a church that has been created in accordance with the promises of the Bible. He pointed to Revelation 7, where God comes to those who are sealed with His Word. “The Word is not a joke or something to be taken lightly - it is absolute,” he stressed.

Chairman Lee also said, “The Bible records the beginning of God’s creation of heaven and earth and the final conclusion. That conclusion is to meet God.” He highlighted that “Revelation is the book that shows us the path to return to God and heaven.” And that process, he added, is unfolding now - just as Jesus promised.

Chairman Lee went on to underline the widespread prejudice and misunderstanding surrounding Shincheonji. “Some label us heretics without even checking the Word. That’s why we proposed a Bible exam, but not one person came forward,” he explained.

He stressed that Shincheonji does not only teach the meaning of Revelation but also the actual fulfilment that has taken place today - something many churches do not even attempt to address.

He asserted, “There are pastors who teach about the Book of Revelation in their own way and try hard, but no one can teach as well as someone who has seen all the prophecies of the entire Book of Revelation appear in reality.” Revelation 22:8 speaks of one person who must see and hear the fulfilled realities of Revelation in order to speak about it.

Finally, Chairman Lee called all believers to become people of light who base their faith not on emotion or tradition, but on the standard of the Bible. “God will be with those who have His Word,” he reminded. “Let us be the ones who shine the light for others - both for ourselves and for God.”

The congregation responded with a resounding “Amen,” suggesting that for many, this wasn't just another Sunday - it was a step closer to understanding the true meaning of faith.

On the 6th, during a Sunday service held at the Shincheonji Icheon Church, believers are listening to Chairman ManHee Lee talk about the importance of the Book of Revelation
Many believers at the Icheon service expressed deep gratitude for a church that teaches the Bible as it is written. One woman, Bokyoung Son (58), said, “I came to Shincheonji not for any personal gain, but because the Word is here. I just hope people will set aside prejudice and check it out for themselves.”

Sang  Lee (56) added, “The reason I chose Shincheonji was the Word. No other church explains the fulfilment of Revelation like this.”

Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereafter referred to as “Shincheonji Church”), received a commendation from the President of the Korean Red Cross at the “2025 Blood Donor Day” commemorative event held on June 13th.

This award was presented in recognition of Chairman Lee's long-standing contribution to promoting a culture of blood donation and stabilising the blood supply. The commendation was received on his behalf by the General Planning Director of the church.

The 2025 Blood Donor Day event, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korean Red Cross in celebration of World Blood Donor Day (June 14th), took place at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The event was organised to express gratitude to blood donors and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.

*Proactive Efforts in Times of Crisis… Nationwide Campaigns Continuously Carried Out
Under the spirit of Chairman Lee’s teaching - “Just as we receive life freely from heaven like the light, rain, and air, let us love our neighbours and share what is precious without hesitation” - Shincheonji Church has considered blood donation as the most direct form of life-giving volunteerism and has consistently practised this for over a decade.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church launched a nationwide blood donation campaign to help overcome the blood supply crisis. In 2022 alone, more than 96,000 members participated in blood donation. Notably, “We Are One,” a youth volunteer group of Shincheonji Church, garnered global attention by setting a Guinness World Record with 71,121 people signing up for blood donation online within just 24 hours. This achievement was recognised as a meaningful civilian-led act of goodwill in response to a global blood shortage crisis.

In 2023, the church enhanced accessibility by operating mobile blood donation buses for university students during summer holiday, working professionals during summer holidays, and travellers during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day). It also implemented cultural engagement activities such as blood donation photo zones, red challenges, and Reels campaigns to appeal to the MZ (Millennial + Gen Z) generation.

*210,000 Participants in 4 Years, KRW 900 Million in Donation Vouchers… Establishing a Positive Cycle Model for Blood Donation
Shincheonji Church has not only encouraged participation but has also contributed to society through donation vouchers and blood certificate donations.

Over the past 4 years, approximately 210,000 participants have generated a donation fund equivalent to KRW 930 million (approx. GBP 500,000), which has been fully allocated to medical expenses for vulnerable groups, scholarships, and emergency relief, contributing to life-saving projects.

Additionally, the church has actively donated blood donation certificates. Over the past 3 years alone, thousands of certificates have been delivered to numerous hospitals and institutions, including:-
5000 to the Korean Red Cross Blood Services Headquarters
3000 to the Daejeon-Sejong-Chungnam Blood Centre
3012 to North Jeolla Provincial Government
3000 to the Korea Association for Children with Leukaemia and Cancer (Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch)
2000 to Daedong Hospital

*Receiving Numerous Awards Nationwide… “A Religious Organisation Leading the Way in Establishing a Culture of Blood Donation”
The blood donation activities of Shincheonji Church and its volunteer group We Are One have received numerous commendations from regional blood centres nationwide, reinforcing public trust.

Since 2022, the church has received more than 15 awards, including:
- A commendation from the Director of the Korean Red Cross Blood Services Headquarters
- Commendations from regional blood centers across Busan-Gyeongnam, Seoul-Gyeonggi, Daejeon-Chungcheong, Gangwon, Incheon, Gwangju-Jeonnam, and Daegu-Gyeongbuk

In 2024 alone, both individual and group commendations have been awarded across multiple regions including Gwangju-Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, Seoul-Gyeonggi (4 regional associations), Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Gangwon, Incheon, and Busan-Gyeongnam, further solidifying the church’s reputation as a trusted civilian religious organisation.

A representative of Shincheonji Church stated, “As those who have received new life through Jesus, we strive to live a life of sharing that love with our neighbours. This blood donation initiative is the essence of our faith, and we will continue building a positive cycle of giving back to society through blood donation.”

The Shincheonji Volunteer Group Seo-Incheon Branch is painting a mural on the wall of the Sankacia Temple

“I was moved by the members’ sincere desire to serve. I am very happy to be able to participate in this good cause.”

In early June, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Seo-Incheon Branch completed its mural design project - which falls under the 'Wall Story' campaign - painting the outer wall of the Sankacia Temple in Incheon City, South Korea. Venerable Dae-ung Seok, the head monk who provided the mural site, said the above.

The 'Wall Story' campaign is one of the three major domestic campaigns of Shincheonji Volunteer Group in South Korea. It is an urban regeneration campaign that restores dilapidated murals through drawings and paintings, depicting characteristics specific to local regions and the stories of local residents. Themes and pictures designed on the murals are decorated at the request of the beneficiaries.

Reflecting the heart and mindset behind the specific design of the mural on that day, an official of the Seo-Incheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group said, “The design of a lotus flower blooming in the mud is symbolic of overcoming difficult times. We hope that this mural will become a local landmark.”

Meanwhile, with the spirit of love and peace as their foundation, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group continues to carry out social contribution projects in various fields, including the environment, veterans' affairs, the disabled sector, public interest and culture.

A meeting between the Seoul-Northern Gyeonggi Branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group and the Jung District Branch of the Seoul Branch of the Korean War Veterans' Association on May 28th

In South Korea, where the sacrifice of Korean War veterans, who risked their lives in a tragic and fratricidal war to defend the peace of their country, is being forgotten, one group is stepping up to educate citizens and promote awareness of the value of patriotism.

On May 28th, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Seoul-Northern Gyeonggi Branch organised an impactful meeting with the Jung District branch of the Seoul branch of the Korean War Veterans' Association. A veteran in attendance said, “Our greatest comfort is the knowledge that there are hearts out there that want to remember us.”

An official from the Seoul-Northern Gyeonggi Branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group said, “We believe that remembering the stories of each and every veteran and sharing the value of the freedom they protected with citizens is the true way to honour veterans.”

Meanwhile, since 2015, and in the months of June and August, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group has held its 'Love Your Country, Share Peace' campaign to commemorate the souls of the war veterans who died for the peace of Korea, and to promote a world of peace without conflict. Through large-scale street campaigns, veterans' association events and booth activities, handwritten letters of appreciation, caricatures, and flowers delivered directly to veterans, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is planting a pledge in the hearts of citizens that they will 'not forget' history. Indeed, the freedom and prosperity that South Korea enjoys today is built upon the sacrifice of these veterans of war.

On the 5th June, the Pocheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group held the 'Green Nature' campaign at the Shineup-dong Market to mark World Environment Day
“I thought I was doing a good job of separating my waste, but after participating in the campaign, I realised that there were many things I had been wrong about.”

This is what Su-mi Hong (55, female) said after participating in the carbon neutral campaign held at the Shineup-dong market in Pocheon City on the 5th June.

This environmental campaign was held by the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Pocheon Branch to mark ‘World Environment Day’ (5th June) - a global annual commemoration that raises awareness of the gravity of environmental issues and encourages action - on the theme of this year’s World Environment Day, “Ending Plastic Pollution.”

The campaign informed citizens of the importance of environmental protection and to provide them with practical ways to practise it in their daily lives through experience. In particular, participants were able to reflect on their usual recycling habits and learn the correct way to separate and dispose of waste. Citizens who participated in all activities were given a potted succulent plant as a souvenir, conveying the message, “Let’s cherish the environment as much as we cherish our companion plants.”

Meanwhile, the carbon neutral campaign is held as part of the ‘Green Nature’ campaign, whose ultimate goal is to preserve a beautiful natural environment for posterity through wetland conservation activities, environmental cleanups that protect major facilities and cultural assets, disaster recovery activities, public awareness campaigns for environmental protection, and the creation of flower paths in waste dumping areas.

On the 5th June, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Eastern Seoul Branch is carrying out an environmental campaign at the entrance of Suraksan Mountain in Seoul

South Korea is no stranger to forest fires, with hundreds of wildfires typically ravaging up to 4000 hectares of forest per annum. In order to raise awareness of the causes and effects of forest fire and the need for prevention, forest fire campaigns by the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Eastern Seoul Branch are consistently held in prone areas.

To mark ‘World Environment Day,’ a global annual commemoration that raises awareness of the gravity of environmental issues and encourages action, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Eastern Seoul Branch held an environmental campaign at the entrance of Suraksan Mountain hiking trail on the 5th June.

In this campaign, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Eastern Seoul Branch focused on raising citizens’ awareness of forest fire prevention through a carbon neutrality campaign, forest fire common sense quiz, guidance on the ecosystem recovery period in forest fire-stricken areas, promotion of forest fire prevention rules, activities to prohibit the possession of flammable materials, a display of various upcycling products to show real-life examples of resource recycling, and several experiential booths.

Visitor Sang-jung Kim (80, male, Nowon district) emphasised, “It is a small action, but it is absolutely necessary for our children and future generations,” and “Environmental protection should not be a one-time thing, but should be continuous.”

An official from the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Eastern Seoul Branch said, “One person’s small actions can be the starting point for protecting the Earth.”

Meanwhile, the forest fire prevention campaign is held as part of the ‘Green Nature’ campaign, whose ultimate goal is to preserve a beautiful natural environment for posterity through wetland conservation activities, environmental cleanups that protect major facilities and cultural assets, disaster recovery activities, public awareness campaigns for environmental protection, and the creation of flower paths in waste dumping areas.
